Water is omnipresent in Iceland and in the Westfjords.
Experience water in all its forms and think about water in Icelandic ecosystems and in human life.
What is water to human body?
What are the issues surrounding water in Icelandic specific environment?

Immersion - Activities in nature
In the early morning we go for a small footing along the shore, on a sandy beach and stop for some breathing practices to get awaken, warm and relaxed. Then, we experience a small bath in the cold water of the fjord.
Following the running water: a journey in the valley of water, Vatnadalur. From sources emerging from below the rocks to the ocean, we follow the water flow along the mountains.
After the walk, we may enjoy the natural warm waters of Suðureyri's pool.
Snorkeling: we explore the underwater wildlife of the fjords, discovering different ecosystems, their functioning and fragility.
Regarding the conditions, we select the activities that will make you feel the elements
Artistic tools
Emerge from underwater with your own vision of this very special environment. Share your vision through visual art works.
Experience the creation of sounds works pieces to better grasp the living running waters. As they flow under the rocks, on the rocks, in turf canals or at sea, waters transmit their life through their sounds.
